"Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" is looking for another director

This is the third film director refuses to shoot the novel of Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith flight of thought - "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies." To show how Lizzie Bennet deals with the undead, were able David O. Russell, Mike White and Craig Gillespie. The latter was appointed to the director's post in April this year, but left this week.
The reason why the film does not start, partly voiced by the director of "Fighter".

"It seemed to me that it takes 40 to 50 million - said David O. Russell. - They needed a film in the style of "Sherlock Holmes" that is, that the action has evolved in the past. But there's a zombie! A studio allocated to the project from 25 to 28 million maximum. So much is a movie about zombies, but not in the style of Austin. We have planned fantastic action scenes. There was a huge commercial potential. And, finally, this is historical movie! And I had to shoot it with the budget as a "Fighter"? Nonsense!"
Mike White, who replaced Russell at the post of director of the project, lasted only two months, and then referred to the mismatch of working hours, and washed his hands.
Craig Gillespie, who shot the hit of independent movie "Lars and the Real Girl", managed to release remake of "Night of Fear", noticing that he was going to start shooting of "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" in 2012 but this week he has abandon the project.
Gillespie parting with studio Lionsgate, which owns the rights to "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" was rather easy. Although who knows, maybe six months later we find out why the third director refused to work with one of the most famous Hollywood protracted.
