Pincus auction raises millions for foundation May 13th 2012, 04:37 David N. Pincus, the Philadelphia clothing manufacturer and philanthropist, joked a few years ago about the soaring value of the art that he and his wife, Geraldine, had collected over the years. “You know, I bought and sold things for some wild numbers,” said Pincus, who died in December at age 85.
