A 67-year-old Toms River man was arrested Wednesday after sexually assaulting a 14-month-old boy while streaming footage over the Internet, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for New Jersey.Rodford W. Brindley Jr. was charged with sexual exploitation of a child, an offense punishable by 15 to 30 years in prison, with a possible $250,000 fine. Ohio investigators became suspicious of Brindley and set up online chats with him. During a session in late March, he told a female undercover officer that he had been sexually involved with minors on multiple occasions, and once had sex with a six-year-old girl whose mother he met online, according to the criminal complaint.
