Off-duty officer badly injured in car-motorcycle crash Jun 9th 2012, 02:44 An off-duty Philadelphia police officer was in extremely critical condition Friday night after his motorcycle struck a vehicle in North Philadelphia.The 35th District officer, 28, whose name was not released, was riding south on North Broad Street about 7:45 p.m. when he crashed into a northbound vehicle making a left turn onto Master Street, said Lt. Raymond Evers. Medics took the officer to Hahnemann University Hospital. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash.
