A 32-year-old shooting victim died of his wounds early today, three hours after police found him bleeding on a Southwest Philadelphia street. Officers who heard gunfire about 10:30 p.m. Sunday discovered the wounded man on the 2000 block of South Simpson Street in the Mount Moriah neighborhood, police said. The victim, who lived on the street, had been shot three times, police said. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, but doctors could not save him and he died at 1:47 a.m.
